SDWAN (Software Defined WAN) is a private network technology that virtualizes existing networks in order to accelerate the speed of deployment and get the best of both worlds: VPN-IP with guaranteed but expensive quality of service, the Internet with very high performance but less reliable.

The principle of SDWAN (which is an evolution of hybrid networks) is to offer a homogeneous interface (via physical or virtualized equipment) for access to different networks (MPLS, Internet, 4G / LTE) by providing the autoconfiguration functions. , application routing (the choice of the support network is made according to the QoS required by the application), load sharing, all this while remaining compatible with existing equipment (routers, firewalls, etc.).
